About Me
Paul is a professional soil scientist (BSc Hons, PhD, CSci) and Fellow of BSSS with over 30 years of experience providing independent consultancy, emergency response and expert witness services in all areas of soil science and the wider land environments, with a particular focus on land contamination, agriculture, horticulture and silviculture, land restoration/reclamation and recycling of organic waste to land e.g. biosolids, compost, anaerobic digestate. Paul can advise on soil sampling, analysis requirements and suitability (e.g. BS3882:2015, BS8601:2013, Agricultural Land Classification - ALC) along with appropriate analysis of waste materials (e.g. Biosolids Assurance, PAS100, PAS110). Paul also holds a WAMITAB continuing competence certificate (CCC 5190765) for Aerobic Composting, Treatment - Non-Hazardous. Waste and Land Spreading and is a FACTS Qualified Advisor (R/FE/3406) with BASIS Registration Ltd.
