This event will bring together member organisations to consider how the UK can best meet its targets for achieving net-zero and the important role the UK science community has in achieving this. The event will feature a keynote address from Government Chief Science Adviser, Sir Patrick Vallance, and breakout sessions organised by several member bodies. The Society will be presenting a session on food/ farming.
