Groundswell is a two-day regenerative agriculture festival that provides a forum for farmers, growers and anyone interested in agroecological systems to learn about producing food and fibre while regenerating the soil and land. Groundswell is hosted by the Cherry family on their farms in Hertfordshire. The on-farm location means the event has a practical focus, with in-field demos and safaris alongside the main talks and workshops in a variety of venues. Many attendees camp on-site during the festival, and there’s an array of independent food traders and evening entertainment at the ‘Earthworm Arms’ bar. Groundswell maintains an independent and grassroots ‘by farmers for farmers’ ethos whilst being firmly established in the farming calendar as a key knowledge exchange event.

Groundswell is a practical show aimed at anyone who wants to understand the farmer’s core asset, the soil, and make better informed decisions. The event features talks, forums and discussions from leading international soil health experts, experienced arable and livestock farmers, agricultural policy experts, direct-drill demonstrations and AgTech innovators.

The British Society of Soil Science will be exhibiting at the event and you can find us at Stand DF D33.
